FRAMED HANJI (한지) PAPER: Handmade "paper of Korea" with ancient and contemporary Korean characters (Hangul). Hanji paper is made from the inner bark of the native Korean Mulberry tree (dak). The process of creating hanji uses a method (dochim) of pounding sheets to compact fibers, lessening ink bleed.
